This book is the autobiography of John Pridmore, a gangster turned Christian. John's life starts crumbling when his parents get divorced. Aged only 11, soon sets out on a life of crime, starting with shoplifting and ending with drug dealing and intimidation.He soon starts to work for a man called Bull dog where he finds him self doing dodgy jobs and becoming increasinly violent ,where most days finds himself wound up in a cellar at the local police station. Aged 27 he has everything: a lot of money, women, cars, and the respect of his peers. One night, working as a doorman in a night-club, he knocks a young man unconscious,beleving he has killed the yaund lad he flee's to his lonley stale flat where he sundenly finds the Spirit of God has sent him a calling .From there the light shines on Johns life where he ditches all the crime glam life and opts for church and retrites in the high hills of scotland where he changed many peoples life and still carries on doing so.
I would recomend this book for anyone looking for a change Its a book that maybe you would not find so interesting but great once you get stuck in.
